Plans

A plan is a set of goals defined for a certain time period. If you are setting strategic goals or working with OKRs, start with creating a plan.

A plan is an effort that the team makes to achieve certain set of goals that are defined through key results.

Plans help the team see the goal and intention behind their planning effort, set the right priorities, and take the right decisions. You can track the plan completion by monitoring status updates of the plan goals or the work that is contributing to the plan goals.

Setting objectives

Every plan should have one or more objectives defined. Objectives help focus planning efforts around specific achievements.

The most important part of the objective is key results. They define what specifically has to change and by how much in order for the objective to be fulfilled.

To set an objective, press the Add a goal button, and detail the objective out. Remember that you can always configure the form for your objectives.

Monitoring objectives

You can monitor the objectives’ completion through the teams’ check-ins. During a regular check-in, team members will provide key information about the work completion and key results’ evolution.

Portfoleon will aggregate this information and provide you with the up-to-date progress information on all objectives and key results.
